The Art of Chocolate and Wine

Please join us at Robust Wine Bar in Webster Groves for the Art of Chocolate and Wine event.  They have invited Little Dipper Chocolate as well as some of St. Louis' other premier chocolatiers to help create the ultimate chocolate and wine experience.  You will be able to sample the best locally made chocolate paired with incredible wines selected by the staff of Robust.

If you have never been, Robust is a great wine bar located on Lockwood in Webster Groves.  They have an incredible vibe there and it is the perfect place to spend a January afternoon sampling chcolate and wine. You can purchase tickets in advance here. Some of the proceeds will go to benefit College Bound.

Right now we are putting together our gift packages for the holiday season. Each gift box or basket contains an assortment of our chocolate creations and is beautifully packaged for easy gift giving.

Little Dipper Winter Events

Little Dipper Chocolate will be taking part in some winter markets and boutiques this year.  We will be at the Clayton Winter Market on December 3rd between 9:00 and noon.  It will held indoors at the Center of Clayton, 50 Gay Ave in Clayton Missouri (map and directions).  This will be a great event that will feature many of the local food producers that take part in the Clayton Summer Market.

We will also be at the Holiday Boutique in Maplewood at Stone Spiral Cafe (map and directions).  This will be a holiday boutique with many local crafts and artists.

After the holidays we will be attending the Vine Market in Ferguson, more details to follow on that.

This week we will be listing on our website some of the items that will be for sale at these events.  We will be creating gift boxes and special assortments in addition to our individual packaging.  Come check it out.

Story on bread and chocolate

They are doing a story on savory and sweet combinations and they loved our bread and chocolate with olive oil and honey.

Also, you will now find our chocolate for sale at Local Harvest Grocery.  They are at 3108 Morganford Road by Tower Grove Park. They are consistantly voted the best grocery store in St. Louis!

We will still be at the Clayton Farmer's Market for the last two remaining sessions on October 29th and November 5th from 8:30 to 12:30.  Come on by!

Our commitment to ethical business practices and the environment

All of our chocolate is single-source and Fair Trade Certified.  That means that fair wages are paid to the farmers and the people that manufacture and process the chocolate.  This also means that the chocolate is sustainably grown and harvested.  And the communities benefit from programs that invest in public health, education and better living conditions.

Our paper trays are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and they are compostable and recyclable.

Our wrappers are made from 100% cellulose and are compostable and biodegradable.

All of the dairy we use is 100% certified organic and so is our honey, peanut butter and olive oil.

We wouldn't do it any other way and we plan to keep improving and refining our mission to make a difference.  We hope you enjoy the show!
